Information Overload

Anybody who has an interest in their health and wellbeing will be aware of the insane amount of information available to us nowadays.

What we must bear in mind, is that only some information is worth listening to. With the internet available to us at the touch of a button, it has never been easier to find an article you are looking for, or an answer to a question that you have.

The problem is that you'll often find about 15 different answers, a lot of which are opinion based, or biased due to a marketing agenda. This can lead to confusion, frustration and eventually giving up on your goals due to not seeing the progress you want.

My advice is to keep things simple. Take everything you hear with a pinch of salt. Do your own research if you wish but do not over complicate things.

Stick to the basics of eating a healthy diet full of whole natural foods, drink plenty water and exercise regularly. The details above and beyond this are specific to your goals.

However, one thing you must bear in mind, is that everybody is different. What works for one person may not work for the next. You have to go and find out what kind of diet, training program and lifestyle suits you best. Don't go copying everyone else and actually listen to your own body!

If you want to take the guesswork out of customising your own workout routines and nutrition, then head over to BusyFitness.com and let us help you with our individual custom online coaching!

Remember, stay consistent, develop good daily habits and don't believe everything you hear!
